The Hues Corporation
The Hues Corporation was an American pop and soul trio formed in Santa Monica, California, in 1969. The group became most recognized for their 1974 single "Rock the Boat," a massive commercial success that achieved number one status and sold over two million copies. The track played a significant role in popularizing the emerging disco genre during the mid-1970s. Active throughout the decade, the Hues Corporation contributed to the development of disco and smooth soul music before disbanding in 1978.
