The Honeydrippers

The Honeydrippers were an English rock and roll band active during the early 1980s, formed by Robert Plant following his tenure with Led Zeppelin. Originating from Worcestershire as an evolution of an existing cover group, the band assembled a rotating lineup of accomplished musicians united by a shared interest in rhythm and blues-influenced rock. The ensemble featured notable contributors including fellow ex-Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Ernest Chataway, among other established session players. Despite their brief existence, the group released a single EP, The Honeydrippers: Volume One, in November 1984, before disbanding in 1985.
