Never for Ever is Kate Bush's third studio album, released in September 1980 by EMI Records. It achieved significant commercial and historical success, becoming Bush's first number one album and the first album by a British female solo artist to reach the top of the UK Albums Chart. The album also made history as the first by any female solo artist to enter the chart at number one. It has been awarded Gold certification by the BPI and produced several successful singles including "Breathing," "Army Dreamers," and "Babooshka."
