Herman's Hermits is an English pop rock group that formed in Manchester in 1963 and disbanded in 1971. Led by vocalist Peter Noone, the band became one of the most commercially successful acts of the British Invasion, achieving particular prominence in both the UK and United States. The group was distinguished by their upbeat sound and Noone's characteristically playful delivery. During a remarkable five-month period in 1965, Herman's Hermits dominated the American charts, maintaining an unprecedented string of twenty-four consecutive weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten across five different singles, two of which reached number one: "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am".
