Herman's Hermits were an English pop rock group formed in Manchester in 1963, led by vocalist Peter Noone. The band became one of the most prominent acts of the British Invasion, achieving significant chart success on both sides of the Atlantic. Known for their upbeat melodic style and Noone's playful delivery, Herman's Hermits dominated the American charts in 1965, during which they maintained an impressive streak of twenty-four consecutive weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten across five consecutive singles. The group produced two number-one hits, "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am", before disbanding in 1971.
