Hawthorne Heights
Heights was an American emo and screamo band that formed in 2001 and remained active until 2006. Operating within the post-hardcore and emo pop genres, the group contributed to the early 2000s screamo and pop screamo movements. Their sound blended aggressive vocal delivery with melodic elements characteristic of the era's emo scene. Though their recording output and commercial impact were modest, Heights participated in a significant period of alternative rock experimentation during the mid-2000s before disbanding.
