Guru Guru

Guru is a German progressive rock band formed in 1968, rooted in the krautrock and psychedelic rock movements of their era. The group blends elements of jazz rock with extended jam-based compositions, creating an experimental sound that defined much of the progressive rock landscape in continental Europe. Known for their improvisational approach and complex instrumental arrangements, Guru exemplified the adventurous spirit of 1970s avant-garde rock, drawing influence from both contemporary jazz fusion and the emerging electronic experimentation of their German contemporaries.
