The Alan Parsons Project
The Alan Parsons Project was a British rock group formed in London in 1975, featuring producer and composer Alan Parsons alongside singer and pianist Eric Woolfson. The two shared songwriting responsibilities across nearly their entire catalog, with Parsons overseeing production while drawing on contributions from numerous session musicians who became integral to the group's sound. Active until 1987, the project blended progressive rock with electronic and pop influences, establishing themselves as notable figures in art rock and contemporary popular music during the 1980s.
