Godley and Creme were an English pop duo formed in Manchester in 1977 by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, following their departure from rock band 10cc. Beyond their own recordings, the pair became influential figures in music video direction during the 1980s, helming videos for prominent artists including Ultravox, the Police, Yes, Duran Duran, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Their 1985 single "Cry" featured a particularly innovative music video that gained widespread recognition. The duo disbanded at the end of the decade, after which both members continued working in video production, advertising, and occasional musical ventures.
