Godiego is a Japanese rock band established in 1975, blending progressive rock with pop sensibilities and new wave influences. The group's original lineup featured Yukihide Takekawa, Mickie Yoshino on keyboards, Takami Asano on guitar, Steve Fox, and Yujin Harada on drums. Following their self-titled debut in 1976, the band underwent several drummer changes, with Ryōji Asano initially stepping in before American drummer Tommy Snyder joined in 1977. Throughout their career, Godiego has explored diverse musical territories spanning soft rock, progressive pop, and psychedelic elements, establishing themselves as notable contributors to Japan's classic rock landscape.
