The Gloria Record
Gloria Record was an American emo and indie rock band from Austin, Texas, active from 1997 to 2004. The group originated as a side project featuring Chris Simpson, former vocalist of the band Mineral, alongside bassist Jeremy Gomez, guitarist Brian Hubbard, and drummer Matt Hammon. They released two EPs through Crank! A Record Company—their self-titled debut in 1999 and A Lull in Traffic in 2000—before delivering their first full-length album, Start Here, in 2002 via Arena Rock Recording Company. The band disbanded in May 2004 while developing material for a subsequent release.
