Al Bano is an Italian singer and actor born in 1943, with a career spanning seven decades that has established him as one of the world's most recognizable Italian vocalists. Having sold over 25 million records globally, he is renowned for his exceptional four-and-a-half-octave vocal range and his distinctive operatic approach to pop, rock, and italo disco music. His professional partnership with Romina Power, daughter of Hollywood star Tyrone Power, became legendary and lasted until the 1990s. Al Bano has participated in the Sanremo Music Festival a record-tying 15 times, achieving victory in 1984 with Power as his duet partner.
