Geoff Moore & the Distance

Geoff Moore & The Distance is an American contemporary Christian music group fronted by singer Geoff Moore. The project began when Moore, who started his solo recording career in 1984, assembled The Distance as his backing band in 1987. Over more than a decade, the group achieved significant commercial success in Christian radio, producing eight albums and numerous chart-topping hits. The band concluded their full-time touring schedule in 1998 following a farewell tour. Moore subsequently resumed his solo career, recording additional albums throughout the early 2000s and 2010s, establishing himself as a prolific artist within the contemporary Christian music genre.
