The Who All songs A–Z

This was the English rock band the Who's second single, released in 1965. It was written collaboratively by lead vocalist Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, marking their only songwriting partnership together. The track is notable for featuring call-and-response vocal elements and pioneering guitar feedback effects, representing what is believed to be the first feedback solo ever recorded. It was also the initial Who release to include Nicky Hopkins on piano.
