This was AC/DC's third studio album, initially distributed only across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in 1976. Its American release came later in 1981, following the death of vocalist Bon Scott. The album marked a significant milestone as the first to feature the complete original lineup throughout all recordings, without incorporating any tracks from sessions with alternate bassists or drummers.
