Fun Loving Criminals are an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1993. Blending rock, hip hop, funk, and jazz influences, the group became known for their distinctive sound and cinematic approach to songwriting. Their breakthrough hit "Scooby Snacks" incorporated samples from films by Quentin Tarantino and helped establish their international reputation in the late 1990s. The band's material draws heavily on New York City and urban culture, addressing themes ranging from crime and violence to humor and satire.
