Anni-Frid Lyngstad, known professionally as Frida, is a Norwegian-born Swedish vocalist born in 1945. Raised in Sweden after early childhood in Norway, she emerged as one of the primary singers and founding members of the internationally acclaimed pop group ABBA. Her distinctive voice became integral to the band's signature sound, contributing to their global success during the 1970s and beyond. Drawing from influences spanning pop and jazz traditions, Frida established herself as a central figure in one of music's most recognizable acts.
