"La Nuit" is a 1964 composition by Belgian singer-songwriter Salvatore Adamo of Italian heritage, considered one of his most significant works alongside "Tombe la neige" and "Inch'Allah". Adamo released simultaneous versions in Italian ("La notte") and Spanish ("La noche"). The French version achieved considerable chart success, reaching number 3 on the Belgian singles chart during 1964. The song was also recorded by Spanish artist Raphael.
