Fountains of Wayne

Fountains of Wayne was an American rock band formed in New York City in 1995. The group, led by founding members Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger, solidified its classic lineup with the addition of Jody Porter and Brian Young following their debut release. Operating across multiple genres including alternative rock, power pop, and indie pop, the band achieved mainstream recognition with their Grammy-nominated hit "Stacy's Mom." Over their active years, Fountains of Wayne released six studio albums between 1996 and 2011 before disbanding in 2013.
