Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy VI is a 1994 role-playing game released by Square for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Originally titled Final Fantasy III in North America, it represents the sixth major installment in the Final Fantasy series and marked a significant transition for the franchise—it was the last entry to employ 2D sprite-based graphics and the first to be directed by individuals other than series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, with Yoshinori Kitase and Hiroyuki Ito taking the helm. Character designer Yoshitaka Amano returned to create the game's visuals, while composer Nobuo Uematsu provided the soundtrack, which has been released across multiple albums.
