The song appeared on their second studio album, We Broke the Rules, released in 2002, alongside an English-language rendition. It achieved significant commercial success internationally, particularly in France where it topped the singles chart for seven consecutive weeks and became the 19th-best-selling single of the 21st century in that country with over 565,000 copies sold. A remixed version was included in a 2004 Italian special edition release.
