Mario Fargetta is an Italian DJ, producer, songwriter, and remixer specializing in house and electronic music. Born in 1962, he emerged as a prominent figure in the Italian dance music scene from the late 1980s onward. He gained recognition through collaborations including the group the Tamperer featuring Maya. Since 2005, Fargetta has recorded under the moniker Get Far, a name reflecting both his surname and his artistic ambition to expand beyond his established sound. As Get Far, he achieved significant international success, reaching the top of the US Hot Dance Airplay chart in August 2010 with the track "The Radio."
