The Afghan Whigs

The Afghan Whigs are an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 1986. Drawing from alternative rock, grunge, and soul influences, they developed a distinctive sound that set them apart within the indie rock landscape. The band initially disbanded in 2001 but reunited for a brief period in 2006 before reforming again in 2011 and continuing to perform.
