Edwyn Collins

Edwyn Collins is a Scottish musician, producer, and record label owner who emerged as a prominent figure in 1980s post-punk music. He co-founded and fronted Orange Juice, a band that defined the era before disbanding in 1985. Following the group's dissolution, Collins pursued a solo career that achieved major commercial success, particularly with his 1994 single "A Girl Like You," which gained international recognition. His work spans indie pop, alternative rock, and pop rock, establishing him as a significant voice in British and Scottish music.
