Taken by Force is the fifth studio album by the German rock band Scorpions, released through RCA Records in 1977. The album marked a significant lineup change, being the first to include drummer Herman Rarebell and the final studio recording to feature guitarist Uli Jon Roth, who departed in 1978 after completing the album's tour and was subsequently replaced by Michael Schenker and later Matthias Jabs.
