Innuendo is Queen's fourteenth studio album, released in February 1991 through Parlophone in the UK and Hollywood Records in the US. It was the final album released during lead singer Freddie Mercury's lifetime. Produced by David Richards and Queen, the album achieved significant commercial success, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart for two weeks and topping charts across multiple European countries for extended periods. It became the first Queen album to achieve Gold status in the US since 1984.
