The Ad Libs

The Ad Libs were an American vocal group that emerged in 1964. Operating during the height of the soul and R&B era, the ensemble became known for their contributions to the contemporary music landscape of their time. The group maintained an active recording and performance career spanning nearly two decades, establishing themselves as part of the mid-to-late twentieth century vocal music scene. Their presence in the industry continued until 1981, when they ceased operations after seventeen years of collaborative work.
