Dirty Rotten Imbeciles is an American crossover thrash band that emerged from Houston, Texas in 1982, eventually establishing themselves in the San Francisco Bay Area. The group pioneered a fusion of hardcore punk and thrash metal during the 1980s, becoming influential within the crossover genre. The band's current lineup includes founding members vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy, alongside bassist Greg Orr and drummer Danny Walker. Their blend of aggressive punk energy with metal intensity helped define the California thrash scene.
