Dew-Scented was a German thrash and death metal band formed in 1992. The group drew inspiration for their name from the literary works of Edgar Allan Poe. Over their 26-year existence, they established themselves within the European metal scene, releasing eight studio albums throughout their career. The band maintained recording relationships with notable labels including Metal Blade Records for their European releases and Prosthetic Records. Dew-Scented disbanded in October 2018, concluding their tenure as a distinctive presence in the German metal community.
