Detective Conan is a Japanese manga series created by Gosho Aoyama that began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in January 1994. The narrative centers on Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective whose body is mysteriously transformed into that of a young child while investigating a clandestine organization. Unable to reveal his true identity, Kudo solves crimes by adopting various disguises, primarily posing as the father of his childhood friend.
