Urban Hymns is the third studio album by the English rock band the Verve, released in late September 1997 on Hut Records. The band had disbanded in 1995 while promoting their previous album but reunited shortly after. The album's creation involved multiple producers and recording sessions, including work with Martin "Youth" Glover and engineer Chris Potter at Olympic Studios in London, with final recording extending into mid-1997 after the return of guitarist Nick McCabe.
