Debbie Reynolds was an American actress, singer, and dancer whose career spanned decades. Beginning in the 1950s, she achieved prominence with her role in Singin' in the Rain (1952), establishing herself as a leading Hollywood talent. Her filmography includes notable performances in Tammy and the Bachelor (1957), How the West Was Won (1962), and The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964), the latter earning her an Academy Award nomination. Reynolds also found success as a recording artist and cabaret performer, and in 1979 opened the Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in North Hollywood. She remained active in entertainment throughout her life until her death in 2016.
