Deathstars is a Swedish industrial metal band originating from Strömstad, formed in 2000. The group combines gothic metal with electronic rock elements, establishing themselves through their distinctive visual aesthetic featuring face paint and dark stage attire aligned with gothic fashion. Their music is characterized by horror-themed lyrics and social commentary marked by pessimism and misanthropy. Over their career, Deathstars have released five studio albums: Synthetic Generation (2002), Termination Bliss (2006), Night Electric Night (2009), The Perfect Cult (2014), and Everything Destroys You (2023).
