"HIStory" is a song from 1995 composed by Michael Jackson along with James Harris III and Terry Lewis. It appeared on Jackson's album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. While the original version was not released as a single, it was remixed in 1997 for the remix album Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix. The remixed version was subsequently released as a double A-side single alongside a newly recorded song called "Ghosts."
