The Datsuns

The Datsuns are a hard rock band from Cambridge, New Zealand, established in 1998. The group's core lineup features vocalist and bassist Rudolf de Borst alongside guitarists Christian Livingstone and Phil Somervell. Following their relocation to London in 2002, they achieved significant commercial success with their debut album that year, topping the New Zealand charts and entering the UK top 20. Their subsequent releases, including Outta Sight/Outta Mind and Smoke & Mirrors, maintained strong chart positions in their home country. The band has released seven studio albums and produced several notable singles, with "In Love" and "Harmonic Generator" reaching the UK top 40. Ben Cole joined as drummer following the 2006 album Smoke & Mirrors.
