The Dandy Warhols

The Dandy Warhols are an American psychedelic and alternative rock band established in Portland, Oregon, in 1994. Founded by singer-guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor and guitarist Peter Holmström, the group expanded to include keyboardist Zia McCabe and drummer Eric Hedford. Following Hedford's departure in 1998, Taylor-Taylor's cousin Brent DeBoer took over drumming duties. The band's name references American pop artist Andy Warhol, serving as a playful homage to the iconic figure. Known for their work across rock, indie rock, and neo-psychedelic styles, the Dandy Warhols have maintained an active presence in the alternative music scene since their formation.
