Dan Swano is a Swedish musician, songwriter, and record producer born in 1973. He rose to prominence as the vocalist and primary creative force behind Edge of Sanity, a pioneering progressive death metal band. Swano has also performed with Nightingale, where he has served as vocalist, guitarist, and formerly as bassist and drummer, and with Witherscape, contributing vocals, keyboards, and drums. Beyond his work as a performer, he established himself as a respected figure in metal production through his ownership of Unisound studio, where he has engineered and produced numerous records within the metal community.
