The Creation
Creation was a British rock group active from 1966 to 1968. Operating during the height of the 1960s psychedelic era, the band combined psychedelic rock with rhythm and blues influences, establishing themselves within the freakbeat and mod rock movements. Their sound drew from garage rock traditions while embracing the experimental sensibilities of contemporary psychedelic music. Though their initial run was relatively brief, Creation represented an important part of Britain's underground rock scene during the mid-to-late 1960s, contributing to the diverse sonic landscape of the period.
