Bebop Bounty Big Band
Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese anime television series that aired from 1998 to 1999 on TV Tokyo and Wowow. Produced and animated by Sunrise, the series was created under the collective pseudonym Hajime Yatate by a production team including director Shinichirō Watanabe, screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, and composer Yoko Kanno. The twenty-six-episode series is set in 2071 and follows a bounty-hunting crew traveling aboard the spaceship Bebop. Blending science fiction, Western, and noir influences, the show examines existential themes including isolation, ennui, and the inability to escape one's past.
