David Coverdale
Coverdale & Page is a collaborative rock project featuring English vocalist David Coverdale and guitarist Jimmy Page. Released in March 1993 across multiple territories, the album marked an unexpected partnership between two major figures in rock history. The project emerged following the end of Coverdale's tenure with Whitesnake and an unsuccessful Led Zeppelin reunion effort. Record executive John Kalodner facilitated their meeting, leading the musicians to develop original material throughout 1991 and 1992. The album was produced collaboratively by Coverdale, Page, and engineer Mike Fraser, blending their respective blues-rock and hard rock influences into a distinctive sound that captured attention from both classic rock and 1990s audiences.
