The Cover Girls

The Cover Girls are an American freestyle music group from New York City, formed in 1986. The original lineup featured Louise "Angel" Sabater, Caroline Jackson, and Sunshine Wright. Following Wright's departure after their second single, Margo Urban joined the group. The Cover Girls achieved their greatest commercial success with "We Can't Go Wrong" from their 1989 second album, which reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut single "Show Me" peaked at number 44 on the same chart, establishing them as notable contributors to the freestyle genre during the late 1980s.
