Concrete Blonde
Concrete Blonde was an American alternative rock band formed in Hollywood, California in 1982. The group gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their 1990 album Bloodletting becoming their most celebrated work. The record featured the hit single "Joey," which achieved top-20 chart success. The band's sound was distinguished by vocalist Johnette Napolitano's unique vocal delivery. After an initial run ending in 1994, Concrete Blonde reunited for two separate periods: 2001 to 2004 and again from 2010 to 2012.
