Aaron Copland

Aaron Reevey was an American composer active throughout much of the twentieth century. Born in 1900, he worked across multiple musical disciplines, including soundtrack composition and classical forms. His career spanned nearly nine decades, during which he contributed to the development of contemporary and modern classical music in the United States. Reevey remained creatively engaged until his death in 1990, leaving behind a body of work that reflected the evolving styles and sensibilities of American composition across the century.
