J.J. Cale All songs A–Z

J. J. Cale's rock composition was originally released in 1966. Eric Clapton recorded a cover version for his self-titled album in 1970, which achieved commercial success. This prompted Cale to create a new recording for his 1971 album Naturally. Clapton re-recorded the song again in 1987 for a beer advertisement before releasing it as a single. The track has remained one of Clapton's most recognized songs throughout his career, with numerous other artists subsequently recording their own versions.
