Signing with Columbia Records, they became one of the label's most successful acts, maintaining an unprecedented 39-year recording relationship that stood as a world record until 2000. At their commercial peak, the Chuck Wagon Gang ranked as Columbia's leading group, accumulating over 39 million record sales throughout their career.
