Children of Bodom

Children of Bodom was a Finnish melodic death metal band from Espoo that originated in 1993 under the name Inearthed before adopting their better-known moniker. The group became prominent figures in the Finnish metal scene, blending melodic death metal with elements of power metal throughout their career. The band's final lineup featured frontman Alexi Laiho, drummer Jaska Raatikainen, bassist Henkka Seppälä, keyboardist Janne Wirman, and guitarist Daniel Freyberg. Over their active period, they released ten studio albums alongside three live albums, two EPs, two compilations, and a DVD. The band ceased operations in December 2019.
