Cheeky Girls is a Romanian musical duo comprising identical twin sisters Gabriela and Monica Irimia. The pair rose to prominence in the early 2000s after participating in the talent competition Popstars: The Rivals. Between 2002 and 2004, they established themselves as chart fixtures in the United Kingdom, securing four top 10 singles during this period. Their breakthrough track, "Cheeky Song," became their signature work, achieving over 1.2 million sales worldwide. In 2003, they released their debut album PartyTime, which peaked at number 14 on the UK Albums Chart, solidifying their position in the pop music landscape of that era.
