The Cardigans

The Cardigans are a Swedish rock band established in Jönköping in 1992. The group's core members included guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson, and lead vocalist Nina Persson. Blending rock, pop, and indie sensibilities with elements of twee and sunshine pop, the band became notable figures in the European alternative music scene. Following a period of hiatus, the band resumed performing from 2012 onward, with guitarist Oskar Humlebo joining the lineup alongside the other members.
