The Capitols

The Capitols were an American vocal group active during the 1960s. Formed in 1962, the ensemble became part of the soul and R&B landscape of that era. The group maintained their recording and performance activities throughout the mid-to-late sixties before disbanding in 1969. With their presence spanning from the early part of the decade through its end, the Capitols contributed to the broader musical output of American soul music during this dynamic period.
