Cage 9 is a rock band with roots in Panama and the United States. Founded in Panama City in 1993 by guitarist and vocalist Evan Rodaniche, the group emerged from the Central American music scene during the mid-1990s. The band later relocated to Los Angeles, California, establishing itself as a fixture in the American rock landscape from 2002 onward. Their bicultural background has informed their musical identity, blending influences from both their Panamanian origins and the broader North American rock tradition.
